How to Mount a KTC Monitor on a Wall or Monitor Arm

KTC products may use a VESA wall mount, a monitor arm, or a model-specific mounting method. Choose the mounting type that best fits your product to get started. If these steps do not fit your screen, use the model links below for exact instructions.

Common mounting types

Standard VESA wall mount

Many desktop monitors use a standard VESA mounting pattern on the back.

Try this:

  1. Confirm that the monitor supports VESA mounting.
  2. Check the mounting pattern and screw size.
  3. Attach the VESA plate according to the mount instructions.
  4. Secure the monitor before lifting it onto the wall bracket.

It is better to confirm the mounting pattern first than to force a bracket that looks close.

Monitor arm installation

A monitor arm usually uses the same rear mounting pattern as a wall bracket.

Try this:

  1. Install the arm base or desk clamp first.
  2. Attach the mounting plate to the monitor.
  3. Lift the monitor onto the arm carefully.
  4. Adjust tension and position after the screen is fully secured.

Large or curved screens may need the arm's weight setting adjusted after installation.

Product-specific placement or mounting

Portable or projector-style products may use a placement or special mounting method instead of a standard VESA arm.

Try this:

  1. Check how the product is meant to be supported or mounted.
  2. Use only the placement or mounting points meant for that product type.
  3. Confirm that the support is stable before powering on.
  4. Route cables so they do not pull the product out of position.

This is especially important for products that are not shaped like a standard desktop monitor.

If the steps above do not match your screen

Before going to the model list, try these quick checks:

  • confirm whether the product actually supports wall or arm mounting
  • check the rear of the product for visible mount points
  • verify the size and weight limits of the mount or arm
  • stop if the product manual uses placement language rather than standard VESA mounting language
