How to Open the OSD Menu on a KTC Monitor

KTC displays usually open the menu with a rear joystick, separate physical buttons, or a smart-display settings interface. Choose the control type that best fits your screen to get started. If these steps do not fit your screen, use the model links below for exact instructions.

Common control types

Rear joystick control

Many KTC monitors use a small joystick behind the screen.

Try this:

  1. Make sure the display is powered on.
  2. Find the rear joystick, usually near the lower back edge.
  3. Press the joystick inward once to open the menu.
  4. Move the joystick up, down, left, or right to navigate.
  5. Press inward again to confirm a selection.

If nothing appears, try a shorter press instead of holding it.

Physical menu buttons

Some KTC displays use separate buttons instead of a joystick.

Try this:

  1. Look for buttons along the lower edge, side edge, or rear edge.
  2. Press the button labeled Menu, or try the center button if there are no labels.
  3. Use the other buttons to move through the menu.
  4. Press the menu or confirm button again to enter a setting.

If one button only powers the display on or off, try the next button instead.

Smart display settings interface

Some KTC smart-display products use a settings screen instead of a traditional monitor OSD.

Try this:

  1. Wake the display first.
  2. Use the touchscreen, remote, or rear controls to open Settings.
  3. Look for sections such as Display, Picture, Sound, or Input.
  4. Open the section you need from there.

If the product behaves more like a tablet or smart TV, this is usually the right path.
